Both SunRay Park and Casino are located in New Mexico, while Farmington and Bloomfield are the two cities that are located between them. During the months of April through June, the track hosts live horse racing, and throughout the rest of the year, it broadcasts horse racing on a daily basis.

Sunray Park History

In April of 1984, SunRay Park, which had been formerly known as San Juan Downs, opened its doors for the very first time. After only eight years of operation, San Juan Downs ultimately shutters its doors. It does not reopen until 1999, when it is renamed SunRay Park and opens to the public.
