With the official unveiling of the newly rebranded Horseshoe Indianapolis Racing & Casino, Caesars Entertainment raised the stakes in all aspects of entertainment and gaming in the Central Indiana region.

The purpose of all of the improvements is to increase the likelihood that horses will remain on the grounds during the offseason.
Between 300 and 350 horses were still present during the winter of 2021-2022, which was the first winter that the track remained open for training throughout the offseason.
