According to a warrant that the Washington Post was able to obtain, Brown must post $10,000 in bond and remain under house arrest pending trial. The Washington Post reports that although a court authorized the order on Wednesday, efforts to contact Brown on Thursday night were futile.

The following day, Brown wrote on X that he had been “jumped” by someone attempting to take his jewels. Police escorted Brown away in handcuffs, but the former wide receiver said he was not arrested and was only being held to give police his story. When Brown was free, he went back to the event.

According to the request, investigators discovered video evidence that appeared to show Brown punching someone else and starting a brawl. Later, the film seemed to show Brown taking a security guard’s gun and sprinting back to the person he had first struck. Five days later, the alleged victim, who claimed to have known Brown since 2022, told police that Brown had run toward him brandishing the revolver and had fired twice at him, maybe grazing his neck, in violation of the warrant. Hayden Winks of Underdog Fantasy made the observation on Twitter that Mahomes had gone 16 consecutive quarters without being sacked in the postseason prior to the Ravens taking him down twice in the AFC Championship Game.
