UTEP vs Seattle Prediction – College Basketball Picks 12-07-2025

In collegiate basketball action that will take place on Sunday at Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle, the UTEP Miners and the Seattle Redhawks will compete against one another. An UTEP versus Seattle prediction is shown here. This will be analyzed from a betting standpoint, and we will determine which of the two teams, UTEP or Seattle, is the best pick. We are going to look at the current form and player performances of both sides, as well as the previous betting patterns and streaks that are associated with this encounter. Towards the end of this discussion, we will bring everything together by providing a synopsis that generates a rational selection for a betting outcome that is advantageous in this game.

They started the year with a few of victories, but ever since then, the Miners have been having a hard time winning games. After claiming victory over UT Permian Basin and Western New Mexico, the team then suffered defeats at the hands of Loyola Marymount and Utah State institutions. After claiming victory over St. Thomas TX once more, the Miners have since suffered defeats at the hands of William & Mary and UAB in their most recent two matches. Over the course of seven games played so far this year, UTEP has acquired a record of 3-4 overall.

After playing UAB on November 25, UTEP ended up losing 75-59 at John Hurst Adams Gym. The game was played at John Hurst Adams Gym. Elijah Jones topped the Miners tally with 21 points, three rebounds, and two assists. He also led the team in assists. On the other hand, Kaseem Watson was the only other player on the team to finish in double figures. He came off the bench and finished with 13 points and two rebounds in 24 minutes of work during the game that the club ultimately lost.

As for the Seattle team, they started the year off on a strong note, winning five of their first six games to earn a perfect 5-1 record. During that time period, the Redhawks were defeated only by Cal Poly. In addition to that, the victories came against Denver, Eastern Washington, Idaho State, Stanford, and Texas State colleges. Following yet another defeat at the hands of UC Santa Barbara, the Redhawks were victorious over Puget Sound in their most recent matchup. A total of eight games played so far this season have resulted in Seattle having a record of 6-2 overall.

Wednesday was the day that we faced off against Puget Sound. During their 97-43 rout, Seattle had very few problems to contend with. Jojo Murphy, who came off the bench and played for the Redhawks over the course of 26 minutes, finished with 18 points, four rebounds, and one assist. He was the team’s leading scorer. During the winning effort for Seattle, Brayden Maldonado led the starters with 11 points and one assist, while Houran Dan had 10 points and five boards in just 11 minutes of action. Both of these players contributed to the team’s victory.

I’m going to proceed with Seattle. In their most recent victory, the Redhawks were able to easily defeat an overpowered Puget Sound squad. They shot a respectable 49 percent from the field while limiting the Loggers to just 27 percent from the field. With that being said, Seattle did manage to shoot a meager 5-of-19 (26 percent) from beyond the arc, and they shot 65 percent (26-of-40) from the free throw line. Any troubles with shooting were, however, mitigated by the 56-22 rebounding edge that was achieved. As of right now, Seattle has scored 71 points or more in every game they’ve played thus far this season, with the exception of one.

The most recent loss for UTEP was versus UAB, and while they did not shoot poorly (41 percent), they did not rebound as well as they could have. The deficit in rebounding was 46-22. To add insult to injury, the Miners committed 13 turnovers and were outscored by a score of 40-14 in the paint. It has been below sixty points in three of UTEP’s losses this year, and it has been below sixty points in all four of their losses this year. In this matchup, it is highly likely that the Miners will struggle to keep up with the pace set by Seattle.
