Josh McDaniels’ Faith in Rhamondre Stevenson Ignites His Comeback Journey
When Rhamondre Stevenson learned that Josh McDaniels would be returning to New England to head the offense, he felt an overwhelming sense of joy. The expression on his face when he found out about the news was telling.
In an interview with Patriots Wire on Thursday, Stevenson stated, “I loved it.” “I might have been the first person to text him, but I was excited for him to get back in here.”
Considering that McDaniels was a member of the coaching staff at the time that the Patriots selected Stevenson in the fourth round of the 2021 NFL draft, this is the second time that the two have collaborated effectively. Therefore, the link was previously present; nevertheless, it has fully shined in only five games during the 2025 season, despite the fact that Stevenson is continuing to struggle with a problem that afflicted him the previous year as well.
