Lil’ Jordan Humphrey was the wideout that Big Blue needed to produce in order to compensate for the absence of Darius Slayton due to a hamstring injury. Wan’Dale Robinson was the only wideout that Big Blue had available.
During the first drive of the game, Humphrey made a reception for 34 yards, which contributed to the first touchdown of the game. He also collected four passes for a total of 55 yards.
The most impressive defensive play of the season was performed by Cor’Dale Flott, who was playing defense. The Eagles were at the Giants’ 15-yard line when Flott intercepted Hurts and raced the ball back to the Eagles’ 23-yard line. At that point, New York was leading the Giants by a score of 27-17. Skattebo scored his third touchdown of the game as a result of this play, which put the game beyond anyone’s ability to win.
