The post time for Opening Night will be at 6:30 o’clock in the evening. Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday are going to be the days that live racing will take place.
Today, September 10, 2006, marked the beginning of the first harness racing season at the facility. The racetrack is 1.006 kilometers long and features a surface that is composed of limestone. A bridge that hangs over the Delaware River and affords a view of freight ships passing by is the location where the halfway point of races that are one mile (1.6 kilometers) long occurs.
Harrah’s is a ship-in facility, which basically means that no horses are stabled on the track. This is due to the fact that horses may be transported in on the river. On race day, its paddock has the capacity to hold 131 horses.
