NFL Football Week 6 Predictions for Every Remaining Game

NFL football Week 6 predictions favor Carolina, Buffalo and Pittsburgh among our clearest Sunday winner-and-spread combinations. YouWager also predicts outright wins for the Rams and 49ers while selecting Arizona and Washington with the points. Every game has a score and a specific market view, including the difference between a confident winner and an expensive moneyline.

This Week 6 card covers the games still to be played on October 18 and 19, 2026. Lines and player availability reflect the October 16 review and can change before kickoff. All selections are YouWager’s own opinions. Thursday’s completed Seahawks-Broncos game is not a new pregame recommendation.

NFL Football Week 6 Predictions Texans vs Jaguars Jaguars -2

NFL Football Week 6 Predictions predicts Texans 20, Jaguars 24. The spread selection is Jaguars -2 and the total lean is over 42.5.

Jacksonville -2 is our selection in London. We expect the Jaguars to control enough of the short and intermediate passing game to finish more drives than Houston. A two-point handicap leaves room for a field-goal victory, which matters in a matchup where a familiar opponent can keep the score close. Our 24-20 prediction asks Jacksonville to be more efficient, rather than dominate every quarter. The Texans remain capable of an upset if their passing game creates a lead and makes Jacksonville abandon its preferred balance.

Over 42.5 is a modest preference. Our score reaches 44, leaving only a small cushion above the line. We expect enough completions on both sides to produce sustained possessions, even if those drives are not especially fast. The over needs Houston to contribute; a comfortable Jaguars win with the Texans stuck on two scoring drives would be a problem. For that reason, Jacksonville’s spread is a cleaner expression of our view than the game total.

A London morning kickoff changes the viewing schedule, but it does not by itself establish a betting advantage. The important risk is Houston turning a close fourth quarter into a one-possession upset. Jacksonville must avoid the turnover that erases several otherwise successful drives.

Jets vs Patriots Jets +7

NFL Football Week 6 Predictions predicts Jets 17, Patriots 24. The spread selection is Jets +7 and the total lean is under 43.5.

The Jets +7 is a lower-confidence spread lean, with a push in our exact 24-17 Patriots prediction. We expect New England to win, but a full touchdown is a meaningful demand in a divisional matchup. Carolina and Buffalo offer clearer spread edges elsewhere on the card. New York’s best route is to keep the game within one scoring possession through defense and short completions, rather than trying to match New England drive for drive in a fast game.

Under 43.5 is the total pick, with 41 combined points in our projection. A Patriots lead can create a slower second half, while the Jets need to preserve possession rather than turn every drive into an aggressive downfield attempt. Breece Hall being out is a concern for New York’s ability to keep its normal balance. The under still has exposure to short fields, because an interception near the red zone can create points without much time coming off the clock.

New York can cover or push while losing outright. New England’s receiver and tackle availability adds uncertainty to its offensive ceiling, and the Jets can keep the favorite uncomfortable if they avoid a game-changing turnover. We do not treat the Patriots as a guaranteed parlay anchor.

Steelers vs Buccaneers Steelers -2

NFL Football Week 6 Predictions predicts Steelers 23, Buccaneers 16. The spread selection is Steelers -2 and the total lean is under 39.5.

Pittsburgh -2 is one of our preferred spread positions. We predict a 23-16 Steelers victory, giving the selection a five-point cushion over the handicap. Tampa Bay is without Baker Mayfield, and we expect Pittsburgh to make the replacement offense earn first downs against pressure. The Steelers do not need a huge passing afternoon to cover this number. A controlled game with a useful field-position advantage and a couple of touchdown drives can be enough.

Under 39.5 is a small preference at a projected total of 39. Pittsburgh can win through defense, field position and selective passing without creating a high-tempo game. Tampa Bay’s challenge is sustaining drives without Mayfield. The thin half-point margin means the under is much less attractive than the Steelers spread. One defensive touchdown or a fourth-quarter score after the winner is largely settled can turn a correct game-script read into a losing total ticket.

Pittsburgh’s receiving availability is a real concern, particularly with DK Metcalf questionable. A reduced passing game could leave the Steelers relying on field goals. Tampa Bay can punish that approach with one short-field touchdown, so we prefer a small spread to an aggressive alternate handicap.

NFL Football Week 6 Predictions Ravens vs Browns Ravens -3

NFL Football Week 6 Predictions predicts Ravens 24, Browns 17. The spread selection is Ravens -3 and the total lean is over 39.5.

Baltimore -3 is our pick, but this is below our top tier. Lamar Jackson is out, so the offense has to be assessed around Tyler Huntley rather than Jackson’s usual combination of passing and rushing. We predict Ravens 24, Browns 17. Baltimore can reach that margin through a steady running game and manageable throws, provided it avoids sacks and turnovers. Cleveland’s own quarterback uncertainty makes sustained offense difficult to project, which is why we keep the selection modest.

Over 39.5 is our total lean. A 24-17 Ravens win produces 41 points, just above the number. The case depends on the offenses creating enough ordinary scoring possessions, not on either replacement quarterback playing an exceptional game. Baltimore can help through rushing production, while Cleveland only needs a couple of meaningful touchdown opportunities to contribute. The over is vulnerable if both teams repeatedly settle for punts after crossing midfield, so the spread is still the preferred market.

Jackson’s absence matters, and Baltimore also has offensive-line injuries to manage. Cleveland can turn a defensive stop into a close finish without producing much total yardage. A Ravens win by exactly three would push the spread, which is another reason not to confuse the moneyline with the handicap.

Bears vs Falcons Falcons pick’em

NFL Football Week 6 Predictions predicts Bears 23, Falcons 27. The spread selection is Falcons pick’em and the total lean is under 52.

Atlanta at pick’em is our choice. Michael Penix Jr. has no game designation, while Caleb Williams is questionable. Even if Williams plays, we prefer the Falcons’ route to maintaining offensive balance. Bijan Robinson can force Chicago to account for the run and for short receiving work, giving Atlanta more ways to keep a drive moving. Our 27-23 prediction asks the Falcons to win the game outright; at a zero-point handicap, there is no separate winning-margin requirement.

Under 52 is our total selection. Our projected 50 points can still include productive games from both offenses. The difference is whether every promising possession becomes a touchdown. We expect a few drives to end in field goals or consume enough clock to limit the total number of chances. Atlanta can be our winner while the game remains under a number that already prices in plenty of scoring. The quarterback uncertainty on Chicago’s side also limits our appetite for the over.

Williams’ status can materially change the contest, and Chicago’s defense can keep Atlanta from controlling the middle of the field. A mistake by the Falcons near their own end zone could erase a long stretch of otherwise balanced offense. This is a competitive four-point prediction, not a blowout call.

Titans vs Colts Colts -7

NFL Football Week 6 Predictions predicts Titans 17, Colts 27. The spread selection is Colts -7 and the total lean is under 45.

Indianapolis -7 is our selection, with a 27-17 score prediction. The Colts can keep Tennessee defending the run and use that attention to find manageable passing opportunities. Jonathan Taylor’s involvement gives Indianapolis a way to finish drives and protect a lead without needing to throw deep every possession. Tennessee receives a full touchdown, so the Colts have to do more than win narrowly. We expect enough separation before the final quarter to clear that requirement.

Under 45 is our total preference. Our predicted score reaches 44, so this is a smaller edge than the Colts spread. Indianapolis can produce three touchdowns and two field goals while Tennessee finishes at 17. A successful Colts rushing game also helps consume time after a lead develops. The under becomes uncomfortable if Tennessee’s late passing game adds a touchdown against softer coverage, even when Indianapolis remains in control of the outcome.

The main spread risk is a late Titans touchdown. Indianapolis can control most of the game and still fail to win by eight. A result exactly seven points apart pushes the listed spread, so we prefer the ordinary -7 to buying a worse alternate number for a larger advertised payout.

NFL Football Week 6 Predictions Panthers vs Eagles Panthers -3.5

NFL Football Week 6 Predictions predicts Panthers 24, Eagles 13. The spread selection is Panthers -3.5 and the total lean is under 39.

Carolina -3.5 is our strongest spread pick. Jalen Hurts is out and Tanner McKee is expected to start, changing Philadelphia’s ability to extend plays and threaten a defense with quarterback runs. We predict Panthers 24, Eagles 13. Carolina does not need to play a perfect game; it needs Bryce Young to protect possession and keep the offense balanced enough to turn several promising drives into scores. The 11-point projected margin clears the field-goal-plus handicap.

Under 39 is our total selection. Philadelphia is also without Saquon Barkley and Will Shipley, so the scoring projection cannot simply assume a normal rushing workload from familiar starters. We expect the Eagles to reach 13 points and Carolina to contribute 24, producing 37 in all. The under has only a two-point cushion, making the Panthers spread our stronger position. A defensive touchdown is the obvious way for the total to get away from this otherwise slower script.

The Eagles’ defensive front is the principal threat to the pick. Pressure on Young can create sacks or a short field for McKee. Carolina’s tackle concerns therefore matter even with Hurts unavailable. We favor the Panthers because of the expected offensive exchange, not because Philadelphia is unable to compete.

Saints vs Giants Giants pick’em

NFL Football Week 6 Predictions predicts Saints 20, Giants 24. The spread selection is Giants pick’em and the total lean is under 46.

The Giants at pick’em are our selection. We project a 24-20 home victory, with New York doing enough on early downs to keep its offense moving. At a zero handicap, a one-point Giants win would be sufficient. The Saints have uncertainty around Alvin Kamara and Chris Olave, while New York has its own protection concerns. We give the Giants the slight advantage in a game likely to be decided by a few scoring-range possessions rather than a large yardage gap.

Under 46 is our total pick. Our 44-point prediction allows both teams to score without requiring a clean offensive afternoon. A couple of field-goal finishes instead of touchdowns would be enough to keep the game under. New York’s protection and New Orleans’ offensive availability make it difficult to assume that every favorable possession turns into seven. This is a measured under opinion, with the Giants’ small handicap offering a separate way to support our winner.

New York’s offensive tackles are a concern, and pressure can make a small home advantage disappear quickly. New Orleans can also improve its scoring outlook if its questionable playmakers are active and effective. We keep the Giants below the Panthers, Bills and Steelers in confidence.

Cardinals vs Rams Cardinals +13

NFL Football Week 6 Predictions predicts Cardinals 20, Rams 31. The spread selection is Cardinals +13 and the total lean is under 51.5.

Arizona +13 is our spread pick even though we expect the Rams to win 31-20. Los Angeles has the better route to controlling the game, but a 13-point handicap demands a large margin. The Cardinals can stay within it by continuing to complete passes after falling behind. Their ticket does not need the game to feel even for all four quarters. A late touchdown can matter to the spread long after the Rams have become the likely outright winner.

Under 51.5 is a thin preference, with our score landing on 51. The Rams can score efficiently early and then use more clock after establishing a lead. Arizona can contribute 20 without turning the matchup into a full shootout. The half-point gap means the total is not a top recommendation. One extra point, a successful two-point try or a late defensive score can defeat the under while leaving the overall matchup analysis largely intact.

Arizona’s receiving game must keep drives alive. If the Cardinals fall into repeated long-yardage situations and give away short fields, the Rams can stretch the margin beyond the available cushion. A large underdog spread reduces the winning requirement; it does not protect against an early collapse.

NFL Football Week 6 Predictions Bills vs Raiders Bills -4.5

NFL Football Week 6 Predictions predicts Bills 31, Raiders 23. The spread selection is Bills -4.5 and the total lean is over 53.5.

Buffalo -4.5 is a top-tier selection. We expect Josh Allen’s passing and ability to extend plays to give Las Vegas more than one assignment to solve. Our prediction is Bills 31, Raiders 23. That eight-point margin covers without requiring Buffalo to dominate the entire game. The Bills need efficient scoring drives early so that a productive Raiders possession late does not leave the favorite relying on a final defensive stand to win the handicap.

Over 53.5 is a narrow lean at a projected 54 points. Buffalo can do most of the scoring work, but Las Vegas still needs a useful contribution. We expect the Raiders to keep enough passing offense available to reach 23 and make Buffalo continue answering. Because the projected over margin is only half a point, the Bills spread is the stronger wager. A field goal replacing one expected touchdown would leave this total below the line.

A long Raiders drive can take Allen off the field and reduce Buffalo’s chance to build separation. The Bills also have receiver availability to monitor. A late Las Vegas touchdown is relevant to -4.5 even if Buffalo remains the likely winner, so we avoid a larger alternate spread.

Chargers vs Chiefs Chiefs -9

NFL Football Week 6 Predictions predicts Chargers 17, Chiefs 27. The spread selection is Chiefs -9 and the total lean is over 41.

Kansas City -9 is our pick, with a 27-17 projection. The Chargers have several important absences, including Joe Alt and Derwin James. We expect the Chiefs to create enough offensive balance to build a lead, then make Los Angeles work through protection problems to answer. Ladd McConkey and Quentin Johnston are off the final injury report, which improves the Chargers’ receiving options. That is a reason to respect the underdog, but it does not erase the broader matchup concerns.

Over 41 is our selection. The projected 44 points leave a little more room than several other totals on this card. Kansas City supplies 27, and Los Angeles contributes 17 through a mixture of touchdown and field-goal possessions. The over does not require the Chargers to play their best offensive game. It does require enough completions to keep a few drives alive instead of repeatedly giving the Chiefs the ball back without points.

A nine-point favorite is vulnerable to a late touchdown. Kansas City is also without Rashee Rice and Josh Simmons, which matters to its own offensive execution. The Chargers can lose the game and still win the spread if they remain organized enough to finish a late drive.

Cowboys vs Packers Cowboys +1

NFL Football Week 6 Predictions predicts Cowboys 28, Packers 27. The spread selection is Cowboys +1 and the total lean is over 53.

Dallas +1 is our spread pick, and we also predict a narrow Cowboys win, 28-27. The teams look close enough that a small receiving cushion has value. We expect both offenses to generate scoring opportunities and neither side to establish permanent control. Dallas can cash by winning outright or by finishing with a tie under the accepted full-game rules. A one-point Green Bay win would push the listed Cowboys spread.

Over 53 is our selection at a projected 55. We expect the game to remain competitive enough for both offenses to keep pursuing points into the fourth quarter. That gives the over a better route than a script in which one team stops attacking after an early lead. Dallas can supply four converted touchdowns while Green Bay finishes at 27. A couple of red-zone field goals instead of touchdowns would threaten the total, so this remains below our strongest spread positions.

A close night game can turn on a missed kick or one protection breakdown. Green Bay can win without invalidating the view that the matchup is nearly even. That uncertainty is why Dallas belongs among the smaller plays, especially if the market takes away the one-point cushion.

NFL Football Week 6 Predictions Commanders vs 49ers Commanders +8

NFL Football Week 6 Predictions predicts Commanders 23, 49ers 30. The spread selection is Commanders +8 and the total lean is over 52.

Washington +8 is our spread pick while San Francisco remains our outright winner. We predict 49ers 30, Commanders 23. A full eight-point cushion lets Washington lose by a touchdown and still cover. Jayden Daniels gives the underdog a route to extending drives and producing late points, even when San Francisco controls most of the game. We prefer the cushion to assuming that a likely 49ers win must become a comfortable two-score margin.

Over 52 is a small preference. The 30-23 score reaches 53, leaving just one point of room. San Francisco can provide efficient scoring while Washington contributes enough to keep the favorite engaged. The total becomes vulnerable if the 49ers turn the second half into a long clock-management exercise. Washington’s spread is therefore the stronger way to express confidence in the underdog’s offense without requiring a particular combined score.

Monday’s final availability picture can differ from the Friday snapshot. Washington needs its protection to give Daniels enough time to create plays, while San Francisco can damage the underdog ticket by turning a late scoring chance into a two-score lead rather than running out the clock.
