Game 3 Prop #1: Martin Necas Over 0.5 assists (-115)

When it comes to scoring opportunities during the playoffs and in this series, Nathan MacKinnon and Gabriel Landeskog are now ranked first and second, respectively, for the Colorado Avalanche.

MacKinnon is a high-volume shooter who will spray from all around the offensive zone, but Landeskog is more of a quality over quantity approach at the net-front. MacKinnon is a highly effective shooter.

Someone needs to make sure that those scoring threats get the puck, and Martin Necas has done an excellent job of doing that throughout the entire playoffs. He is the leader of the club in both primary assists and assists overall.

I am betting on him to add to his total in Game 3, and I believe that doing so might be profitable up to a point of -125.

Game 3 Prop #2: Shea Theodore Over 1.5 shots (-150)

Since the beginning of the playoffs, Shea Theodore has maintained a healthy pace of shot attempts, as evidenced by the fact that he has tried at least four shots in ten of his previous eleven games, including the first two of this series.

In situations where he has attempted four or more shots, he has a track record that is quite impressive. Theodore has been successful in clearing 1.5 shots on goal in 74% of the games in which he has reached that benchmark, and in 84% of the games that he has played at home.

He creates a significant amount of his volume from the right point, and the Avalanche ranked 24th in the league this season in terms of their ability to defend that shooting zone. To take advantage of the situation, I am betting on Theodore and would wager to -170.

Game 3 Prop #3: Noah Hanifin Over 1.5 blocked shots (-150)

Noah Hanifin has spent the majority of his time playing alongside Rasmus Andersson ever since the latter was acquired by the Vegas Golden Knights. They have been utilized in a defensive capacity for the most part, beginning a significant number of shifts within their own zone.

Hanifin’s output of blocked shots has increased in a similar manner. Since the trade, he has stopped multiple shots in 61% of his home games, which is a significant improvement from the 30% of his games earlier.

Hanifin has blocked at least two shots in thirteen of his last nine games in Vegas, and in seven of his last nine games overall. When facing a desperate Avalanche squad, I believe he will be able to fill the shooting lanes, and I would wager that he will do so up to -170.
