Watch: Tom Brady Throws TD on First Pass in Flag Football Classic

In Saturday’s Fanatics Flag Football Classic, former New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady made sure to conclude Founders FFC’s opening drive with a score even if he didn’t start it.

On a fourth-down play, the seven-time Super Bowl champion took the place of Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts and connected with former Patriots wide receiver Stefon Diggs for a touchdown. Brady, 48, demonstrated his pocket mobility by sending a dart to Diggs in the end zone’s corner after a pass-rusher missed.

Against the U.S. men’s national flag football team, it was the first toss of the game on a fourth down. Other than Brady, who else could pull off such a feat?

Brady connected on another successful ball for extra points after the touchdown. But on this particular play, he connected with the great tight end Rob Gronkowski, a former longtime comrade.

Unfortunately for Brady and company, Gronkowski’s hamstring injury caused him to exit the game following the play.
