Vic Schaefer calls out his No. 4 Longhorns, saying ‘We have no heart’
The coach of the Texas women’s basketball team, Vic Schaefer, did not hold back when it came to expressing his disapproval of the team’s performance after the No. 4 Longhorns suffered a defeat at the hands of the No. 5 Vanderbilt Vanderbilt Longhorns on Thursday night; the score was 86-70.
The statement made by Schaefer was, “We do not possess any heart.” Not a challenging group of people, we are. Perhaps the most tolerant team I’ve had in a number of years is the one that I currently have.
The Longhorns were down by a score of 26 points when they finally made a move in the dying minutes of the game.
Schaefer made the following statement in his statement: “It directly translates from practices… my fault.” “I would like to put it on. I am going to carry all of it with me. This is where I am at fault. Now that it has come to an end.”
Schaefer turned his focus to awarding credit to the Commodores and Makayla Blakes, who is currently the national scoring leader. This was in response to the criticism that his team had received.
While this was going on, he made the following observation: “That damn team over there is really good.” The people that make up the group are very remarkable. They must not be discriminated against in any way, shape, or form. They were successful in their assault on the University of Texas. This ensemble possesses a great deal of soul.
Blakes was responsible for 34 points scored.
Tennessee, which is ranked number 22 in the nation, will be the destination for the Longhorns.
