A stable condition has been reported for Sanchez at the hospital.
Sanchez had been set to call the home game between the Indianapolis Colts and the Las Vegas Raiders, which was supposed to take place on Sunday.
According to a statement released by Fox Sports on Saturday, “Mark Sanchez sustained injuries in Indianapolis on Saturday and is currently recovering in the hospital in stable condition.” “We would like to express our profound appreciation to the medical staff for the amazing care and assistance they provided. After graduating from the University of Southern California in 2009, the New York Jets selected him with the fifth overall pick. Sanchez, who was playing under Rex Ryan at the time, led the Jets to consecutive AFC title games during his first two years in the league under his leadership.
Sanchez completed his career as a backup quarterback after spending five years in New York. He went on to play for Philadelphia (2014–2015), Denver (2016), Dallas (2016), Chicago (2017), and Washington (2018) before retiring this year.
