Stephen Curry Injury Update: Return Nears but Out at Least 2 More Games
Even under the best-case scenario, Stephen Curry won’t have much time to prepare for his impending comeback to the Golden State Warriors.
Curry, who has been sidelined for almost two months due to patella-femoral discomfort syndrome and bone bruising in his right knee, will be included in live action and team practices in the upcoming days, the Warriors said on Saturday.
According to reports, he will be reassessed once the Warriors’ current road trip concludes on March 23. As a result, he will miss his upcoming games against the Dallas Mavericks and Atlanta Hawks, which are his 21st and 22nd since leaving his most recent game on January 30.
Moses Moody (right wrist sprain), whose reevaluation is set for Tuesday, was similarly assessed on Saturday and has a similar prognosis.
The Warriors would only have ten games remaining in the regular season if the 38-year-old Curry returned right away following his reevaluation.
Depleted Warriors face tough road ahead
