The recent leadership of the National Football Conference (NFC) over the American Football Conference (AFC) is one of the most overlooked narratives to emerge from Super Bowl LX.

After a lackluster performance against the Seattle Seahawks, the Patriots were defeated by a score of 13-29. This was one of the worst quarterback performances in recent memory, and it was delivered by Drake Maye.

A year ago, the Chiefs were defeated by the Philadelphia Eagles by a score of 22-40 when they were defeated. The score was never in the balance.

However, leading up to the year 2024, the Chiefs had won the previous two Super Bowls. Against both the 49ers and the Eagles, they were able to do this with a margin of three points. The Rams and the Buccaneers were the teams that won the two world championships that the National Football Conference had won up until that moment.

As a brief summary, the National Football Conference (NFC) has won four of the last six Super Bowls. The two most recent games had the highest point differentials, and the outcomes of those games have been highly skewed in favor of the National conference.

The actual Super Bowl was on the road against the Seahawks.

To what extent did the story reach its culmination during the weekend of the championship? This is a question that I posed prior to the Seahawks playing the Rams, and it seems more pertinent now that the game has taken place.

In order to earn a spot in the Super Bowl, we witnessed the two best teams in the National Football League competing against each other. During that period of time, it appeared that the Lombardi Trophy would be awarded to the individual who finished in first place. That turned out to be accurate.

Did the Patriots commit any frauds? This is not always the case. In terms of the construction of their roster, they were barely one year ahead of schedule. During this season, the Chiefs and Patrick Mahomes were absent from the AFC conference, as were the Bengals and the Ravens, both of which struggled with injuries at the quarterback position for the most of the season. The fact that New England was able to gather playoff experience despite having a youthful roster is a positive development for the team. For them, the year 2025 was never going to be the year.

What lies ahead for the Rams in the future

It is anticipated that the journey will continue to be more challenging for the NFC side for the foreseeable future. There is a good chance that the Seahawks will not be leaving. One year from now, the Bears, Packers, Panthers, and newcomers should all be more formidable than they are today.

As we approach into the offseason, we are aware that the Rams have significant requirements. Furthermore, in addition to reloading at the receiver, they need to focus on their secondary capabilities.

When it comes to returning to the NFC championship, it will be an uphill task even if they are successful in patching these wounds. The National Football League operates in this manner. Due to the fact that these moments are transient between periods, it is imperative that you, as a fan, appreciate them.

With that being said, if the Rams are successful in escaping the NFC, they ought to have the upper hand over the club from the AFC.
