In Super Bowl LX, which took place on Sunday, the Patriots quarterback Drake Maye had a difficult time during the game against the Seahawks.

There was a lot of attention paid to the shoulder injury that Maye sustained during the AFC Championship Game; yet, the quarterback has been adamant throughout the past few weeks that he will be fine for the game that is considered to be the most important of the season.

Maye, on the other hand, need some medical attention for Sunday.

After the game, Maye disclosed to the media that he had been given a painkilling shot in his right shoulder prior to the competition. This information was obtained by Mark Daniels of MassLive.com. Nevertheless, Maye did not mention that the injuries restricted him in any way.

During the final moments of Super Bowl LX, Maye completed 27 of 43 passes for 295 yards, two touchdowns, and two interceptions. Additionally, he fumbled the ball, which resulted in a total of three giveaways.

Even if Maye was unable to play due to his shoulder injury, it is quite unlikely that it had a significant impact on the outcome of the game. The Patriots’ pass protection was subpar throughout the whole game, as seen by the fact that they allowed six sacks and 11 total quarterback hits, and it appeared as though they allowed even more.
