Minnesota Vikings vs New York Giants Prediction – NFL Betting Picks
Now we have the Minnesota Vikings vs New York Giants Prediction for both teams.
In National Football League play on Sunday, the Minnesota Vikings and the New York Giants engage in a matchup at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford. This is a prediction for the Giants versus the Vikings. From a betting standpoint, we will analyze this situation in order to determine which team, the Giants or the Vikings, is the best pick.
In their first five games, Minnesota had a record of 3-2, with victories over the Bears, Bengals, and Browns, as well as defeats at the hands of the Falcons and the Steelers. In the eight games that followed the bye week, the Vikings went on a tough run that ended with a record of 2-6. The Lions and the Commanders were the only teams that Minnesota was able to defeat during that time period. Other than that, they were defeated by the Eagles, Chargers, Ravens, Bears, Packers, and Seahawks. As a result, Minnesota entered their first 13 games with a record of 5-8.
In the game that took place over the weekend against Dallas, Minnesota was leading by one point going into the final quarter of the game. After then, the Vikings went on a run of 10-3, which resulted in a victory by a score of 34-26. During the game, JJ McCarthy completed 15 of 24 passes for 250 yards, two touchdowns, and a pick. While Jordan Addison was the team’s leading receiver, Aaron Jones led the club in rushing with 34 yards from 12 runs. Addison also led the team in receiving with two catches for 66 yards.
On the other hand, the Giants started the year with a record of 2-4 overall, with their two victories coming against the Chargers and the Eagles. Aside from that, the losses during that time period were sustained by the commanders, Cowboys, Chiefs, and Saints. The Broncos, Eagles, 49ers, Bears, Packers, Lions, and Patriots were among the teams that New York would lose to in the last seven games leading up to the bye week. This would result in the team having a record of 2-11 in its first 13 games.
Despite the fact that the Giants were able to score in each of the next three quarters of their matchup against the Commanders on Sunday, they were unable to overcome the 19 points that they gave up in the second quarter, which ultimately led to a loss of 29-21. In addition to Tyrone Tracy’s 15 carries for 70 yards and a touchdown, quarterback Jaxson Dart completed 20 of 36 passes for 246 yards, two touchdowns, and a blocked field goal. Within the context of the losing effort, Theo Johnson was the leading receiver with three receptions for a total of 72 yards.
Despite the fact that I’m leaning toward the Giants, I’m probably not going to touch this one. Last Saturday, New York suffered yet another defeat at the hands of the Commanders, despite the fact that they were able to prevent Washington from converting any third downs and recovered a couple of quarterback fumbles. The 11 penalties that were handed down by the Commanders did not improve matters much. On offense, New York was able to accumulate 384 yards and 22 first downs, but they were only able to convert two out of twelve third-down opportunities. The New York Yankees have now suffered eight consecutive defeats, but they have been able to maintain a competitive edge in a few of those games.
In their victory over the Cowboys by eight points, the Vikings racked up 327 yards of total offense, 21 first downs, and a poor performance on third downs, converting only two of nine opportunities. The defense of Minnesota allowed 423 yards to be thrown against them, but they were able to hold their own on third downs, allowing only two of twelve attempts to be successful. The Minnesota Timberwolves have now won two games in a row, accumulating a total of 65 points in those two victories. In my opinion, it is not difficult to imagine the Vikings dominating this game from start to finish.
