It has been extremely irritating for everyone as the Pittsburgh Steelers have been courting free-agent quarterback Aaron Rodgers for more than two months, but the veteran has not decided on his football future.

Instead of signing with the Steelers, Rodgers could decide to retire. In any case it is suggested Pittsburgh as a possible destination for Atlanta Falcons signal-caller Kirk Cousins, and general manager Omar Khan ought to begin considering other quarterback alternatives.

This one is easy. The Pittsburgh Steelers will need to move fast to locate another excellent starter if Aaron Rodgers decides he does not want to join the organization. Cousins is the most driven person Pittsburgh has ever seen. With the correct coaching and playmakers around, Cousins can still be a reliable starting quarterback despite his struggles from the previous season. A change of scenery in Pittsburgh might be just what he needs to have a successful 2025 campaign.

Since Cousins is on a huge contract and will turn 37 before the season, there are certain risks associated with trading for him. But at this stage of the offseason, the Steelers have exhausted their options for quarterbacks, so they must continue to consider dealing for Cousins.
